Jerry is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Animal Science.

The various facets of farming and ranching have been a lifelong occupation for Jerry, and he has been employed as a ranch manager for 37 years, with 25 of those years spent leading El Sauz into the modern era of multiple-use and diversified agricultural enterprises.

Jerry is a proud member of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, for which he serves on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Wildlife Committee.
