Freddy received his Associate's Degree in Applied Science of Agricultural Technoloy from Texas State Technical College-Harlingen, during the summer of 2005. He is currently in his last stretch in receiving his Bachelor of Science in Range and Wildlife Management from Texas A&M University - Kingsville.

Freddy follows a long history started by his great-grandfather Guadalupe Nieto, on the HP El Sauz Ranch, being a fourth generation of the Nieto family. He has worked closely with Mr. Jerry Taylor and Mr. Lupe Nieto on daily ranch chores. Freddy has also spent many long days and nights working closely with local game wardens on providing security for the wildlife.

Freddy will be assisting in the field work and working closely with Texas A&M University - Kingsville on the research being conducted on the HP El Sauz Ranch focusing on the grazing interactions of nilgai and cattle
